Music in the Woods

Enjoy a beautiful afternoon and evening of music on the grounds of the Oregon Ridge Nature Center. The Oregon Ridge Nature Center Council hosts this annual event of local musicians and bands at a family-friendly festival. Guests will enjoy music from soloists and groups performing anything from folk, bluegrass, rock and more on an outdoor stage. Visitors can also bring their own instruments and join in an impromptu jam session.

The Oregon Ridge Dulcimer Group will perform and host a “get to know the dulcimer” workshop. Vendors and crafts for kids will be available all day. We encourage families and friends to bring their lawn chairs or picnic blankets and enjoy all the music. This event takes place rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, we will adjust to use the pavilions and building as needed. We will end the evening with a campfire and s’mores!

If you enjoy performing folk, ballad, acoustical, bluegrass or just music in general and want to shine your light, this is a free venue unlike any other. To participate, just call the Nature Center to inquire about opportunities to perform.
