MAPLE SUGARING WEEKENDS - February 16, 17, 23 and 24; 11a.m. - 4 p.m. - Join us in the Sugar Shack between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to learn the magic behind the fascinating process of making maple syrup! Take an invigorating guided hike to the sugar bush to tap a tree for sap. See how the sap is processed with current and antique technology and taste maple syrup and sugar. • Hikes on the hour • The Maple Sugaring Story, 20-minute movie on the half-hour • Sugar on the Snow demos at 12:30 and 3:45 p.m. • Pure Maple Candy and Syrup will be sold in the Nature Center. In the event of inclement weather, call the Nature Center or check our website and Facebook page for updates. An event for all ages! No registration requried for individuals and families. Groups of 10 or more must register in advance so we can make sure to have adequate staff on hand.

SUMMER CAMPS - Here are the forms and flyers for Summer Camp this year. - Summer Camps - Procedures and Application, Registration and Liability Form, Health Assessment Form . If your child does not attend a Maryland School you will also need to include a copy of their immunization records.

JOB AND VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES - We are currently accepting applications for Seasonal Park Attendants, Summer Seasonal Naturalists - Outreach, Summer Seasonal Naturalists - Summer Camp, Counselors in Training, Naturalist Interns, and Ridge Runners. The Nature Center is open from 9 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Sunday. We are closed on Mondays, Christmas Day and New Year's Day

The Park is open every day sunrise to sunset - March thru October. In the winter (November - February) the Park is open 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Oregon Ridge Lodge
