THE MINERS LOST TREASURE HUNT - August 29th & 30th, 1PM-3PM - Find the miners lost treasure on this exciting scavenger hunt around the park while learning about iron mining that once occurred at the Oregon Ridge Park. Then, get a special tour of the Peter Goff Museum, the replica tenant house. Ages 5+, $5 ($3 members).
TRAIL GUIDE TRAINING - September 1- 4, 2015, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM - The Oregon Ridge Nature Center is in need of volunteers to help lead free field trips to both public and private schools Tuesday-Friday, year-round. Volunteers lead small groups of field trip students around the park for a hands-on nature experience to remember for a lifetime! No minimum time commitment. Cost: $20 (refunded after you lead your first trail group).
The 2015 Nature Quest Passports are now available at the Nature Center. The passport booklet gives a description of the trails in the Baltimore County Parks, and details the rules of the Nature Quest. Those completing all or a portion of the trails will receive prizes donated by Wegmans.

The Nature Center is open from 9 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Sunday.
We are closed on Mondays. The park grounds are open dawn to dusk everyday.
