A"CORD"ING TO A NATURALIST - September 27th or 28th, 1PM-3PM - Find out what plants in and around the park can be used to make rope in this cordage making workshop. Then, play a game of tug O’ war with our finished product! $2 (Free for members).
HONEY HARVEST FESTIVAL - October 4th and 5th, 11AM-4PM - Celebrate the honey bees at the 33rd annual Honey Harvest Festival. Activities include open hive demonstrations, honey extraction, beeswax candle dipping, mead making, honey ice cream making, puppet shows, animal encounters, face painting, local honey product sales, childrens crafts and much, much more! The Nature Center is open from 9 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Sunday.
We are closed on Mondays. The park grounds are open dawn to dusk everyday.
