TUBING ON LITTLE FALLS - 7/23, 7/24, 8/13, and 8/14; 10AM-2PM - Celebrate the hot summer days tubing down the Little Gunpowder Falls River. Pack a small lunch and plenty of water. Closed toe shoes are a must! Children must be at least 8 and able to paddle their tube around obstacles in the water. Under 16, must be accompanied by an adult. Program meets offsite and shuttling from put-in to take-out is required. $15 ($10 for members).

JOBS AND INTERNSHIPS - The Nature Center is looking for Naturalist Interns. For more information check the linked flyer and/or contact the Nature Center at 410-887-1815.

COLUMBIA GAS TRANSMISSION PIPELINE PROJECT - This project will cut a swath through 1.3 miles of Oregon Ridge Park, and use 8.6 acres of parkland for a construction yard. Work has begun. Details of this project can be found in the Oregon Ridge Park Mitigation Report and the Forest Conservation Plan. (Note: The linked files are approximately 35 megabytes in size and may take a while to download.)

Hours

The Nature Center is open from 9 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Sunday.
We are closed on Mondays. The park grounds are open dawn to dusk everyday.
