WEEKEND ANIMAL ENCOUNTERS - January 30th and 31st, 1PM-2PM - Join us every Saturday and Sunday in January for a Naturalist’s choice animal encounter and activity. Activities may be a story, craft, or outdoor exploration. No registration required and it's FREE!
NATURAL PAPER MAKING AND CRAFTS - February 6th & 7th, 1PM-3PM - Make nature-inspired crafts and recycled paper cards to give to a sweetheart and a wildlife friend for Valentine’s Day. Prepare for the Chinese New Year by making red envelopes! Ages 5+, $3 ($2 members).
MARYLAND MASTER NATURALIST TRAINING - Oregon Ridge will be hosting our 7th season of Maryland Master Naturalist Training. The 2016 Master Naturalist course is set to begin in April and ends late May with classes on consecutive Mondays and one Saturday a month from 9 am to 3:30 pm. Participants must be available to complete all of the 60-hour in training and commit to 40 hours of community service at the nature center after the training.
